Having grown up in Garrett County, MD, I was consistently exposed to and surrounded by, the meticulous, astounding products of nature. I am thankful to have been taught at a very young age to respect and appreciate my environment, which had a direct influence on my artistic making. 

I like to experiment with materials, and investigate outcomes using various mixed media. I also enjoy creating plein air landscape oil paintings, and mixed water media illustrations. 

Inspiration seems to strike the most while exploring outdoors. I find that nature's products are most astounding.  Whether it be hiking through the woods, or peering into the vastness of the universe at night, nature is truly humbling and beautiful.
